I hope you have a lovely month ahead. Anyway, today I am sharing my recent shopping haul. I had some gift cards that’ll expire in September and October. Hence, I decided to buy (and stock up on) a few items for my skin, hair, and everyday use!
In this blog post, I am sharing products I bought recently (July and August) and the ones I got from my India trip. Now, first, let’s start with my skincare haul.
Skincare Shopping Haul:

*NEW* SIMPLE Replenishing Rich Moisturiser with Vit B5+E & Niacinamide
SIMPLE’s new 2022 revamped line includes their moisturising face wash and a daily moisturiser loaded with Vitamin E and B5. The brand has improved these products by adding some more goodie ingredients. So when I spotted these NEW launches at the BOOTS store, I picked their face wash and this replenishing moisturiser with Vitamin B5 +E and Niacinamide.
First Impression:
Like other SIMPLE skincare products (that I tried to date), it doesn’t have any fragrance and makes my skin feel nourished! The texture is slightly thinner than cream and thicker than the lotion. I’ll use it thoroughly and share my thoughts real soon.

*NEW* Simple Moisturising Face Wash with Vit B5+E & Pro Amino Acids
Apart from the moisturiser, I got this new Simple moisturising face wash with Vitamin B5 + E and pro amino acids. Now, I’ve used the previous version and quite liked it too. I just realized that I didn’t review that product on my blog, and here, this brand has already launched its new version! Anyway, I’ll compare both of them and will share a detailed review post for you 
.
First Impression:
The face wash is unscented, and as a cleanser, it’s nice. My skin feels good post-cleansing. Whether sensitive, acne-prone skin beauties should buy it or not, to know that stay tuned for my review!

Simple Hydrating Booster
I also got the Simple water boost hydrating booster (aka serum) for my dehydrated skin. The brand says you can use this product as a hydrating primer underneath your daily moisturiser, as a booster by adding it with the moisturiser, or apply it directly as a moisturizer. These reasons were enough to tempt me, and thus, they came home with me.
First Impression:
The packaging is cute, and it’s easy to apply. It does feel light on the skin. I have used this one, and so far, so good!

La Roche-Posay EFFACLAR DUO SPF30 Anti-imperfections Corrector
If you have been following my blog, you know I have acne-prone skin. I suffer from acne scars and pigmentations. I do use La Roche-Posay thermal spring water as a face mist but needed something for the spots. Hence to diminish the acne marks and skin imperfections, I purchased this La Roche-Posay Effaclar duo corrector from the Boots store.
First Impression:
The Effaclar duo comes with a nozzle. Hence it becomes easier to apply the product to the skin. I’ve used it only once, so I’ll use this product regularly for a month. And then I’ll share my experience with you.

The Body Shop® Vitamin c Glow-boosting Moisturiser
Recently I visited the Radha Krishna temple on Oxford street. And while returning home, I chanced upon The Body Shop® store to look at their latest launches and get our favorite shampoo and shower gels. Also, did you know they have just announced their Christmas beauty advent calendars for 2022? I wanted to check them out, but unfortunately, that store didn’t have the calendars! I’ll go next month, again. So, the brand has recently revamped its Vitamin C line. And from this range, I got their glow-boosting moisturiser enriched with Camu Camu berry extract. I was drawn to this moisturiser because it has some goodie ingredients, especially Vitamin C 
!
First Impression:
Well, I applied this moisturizer today and found it really good. The packaging is recyclable and suitable for vegans. I love how it feels light on my skin, and its citrusy fragrance is so refreshing!

The Body Shop® Satsuma Shower Gel for all skin types:
It is not the first time I am trying out this product. It is my husband’s favorite shower gel, and we always keep a backup of this product. I noticed that the brand has recently revamped the packaging of its products. The earlier versions had transparent packaging, but the new products come in dark containers. This shower gel has such a refreshing, citrusy fragrance! And it cleanses the skin effectively!

The Body Shop® Edelweiss Concentrate with peptides:
The Body Shop® brand’s Edelweiss line is the improved version of their Drops of Youth
. I received this tiny Edelweiss concentrate (serum) as a freebie with my total purchase. I am so happy to try out this serum concentrate .
First Impression:
This concentrate has a gel texture and gets absorbed into the skin quickly. It has almost zero fragrance and feels so good on the skin!

Evolve Organic Beauty Daily Renew Facial Cream For normal/dry skin
Summer season is over, and my dry skin season has started! In winter, my combination skin becomes severely dry. Hence I always look for nourishing moisturizer for my skin. I got this product from the John Lewis website. I had their £50 gift card, which expired in August. So, I purchased this facial cream and a night cream using that gift card.
First Impression:
I have used this cream a couple of times and found it super nourishing. A lovely moisturizer for the dry winter season.

Rituals Glow Anti-aging Night Cream
Along with Evolve moisturiser, I also got this Rituals of Namaste, anti-aging night cream. I was running out of my night cream, and this one looked just perfect for the coming fall and winter seasons.
First Impression:
Can we take a moment to appreciate this beauty? I mean, look at the packaging! How elegant and pretty! I am yet to try out this cream, so stay tuned for my detailed review.

Scholl Expert Care Foot Cream For Dry Skin
Next, I purchased this Scholl Expert Care foot cream for dry, rough feet. I must confess that my feet are the most neglected part of my body! I give my all focus on my face and hair, but I hardly take care of my feet. Hence they crave attention! I hope this foot cream works for my skin. My Palmer’s foot cream is almost over, so I will use this cream next.
First Impression:
The packaging is simple and practical. The product is currently sealed, so I’m not sure whether this has a pleasant scent or not! However, I am pretty optimistic about this foot cream.

La Shield oil-free Sunscreen Gel SPF 40
Sunscreen is super important for our skin! This brand La Shield is new to me, and I got this product from India. I am currently using another Indian brand Lotus sunscreen, for my combination skin. Once I finish this product, I will use this new La Shield sunscreen gel regularly.
First Impression:
I used this sunscreen gel two times (my sister uses this sunscreen, so I tried it when I was in India). I noticed that it’s truly a lightweight sunscreen. It smells good and gets quickly absorbed into the skin.

Burt’s Bees Vanilla Bean Moisturising Lip Balm
Now, let’s talk about my lip care haul .
I have heard good things about this brand Burt’s Bees. So, I was interested in trying out their lip balms. You know that I am literally a lip balm hoarder! My lips are real dry, so I always have to keep them moisturised and plump.
First Impression:
The lip balm has cute packaging. I picked the flavor Vanilla, but not sure how it’ll smell upon application. I’ve not tried it yet!

Natural History Museum Lip Balms (Rose Blush + Geranium AND Wild Raspberry + Vanilla)
If you’re following me on Instagram, you might know that I visited the Natural History Museum, again to see the Dippy, the Dinosaur. It’s a free museum. So you can visit this place multiple times!
Anyway, this time, we made sure to purchase a few items from the museum shop. I grabbed a few healing stones, toys for my niece, souvenirs, and these two cute organic base lip balms. The museum has its skincare line! How cool !
First Impression:
I purchased the vanilla-wild raspberry flavor and rose blush-geranium flavor lip balms from the store. They come in tiny 10ml aluminum tin containers. These lip balms are cruelty-free, so they are suitable for vegans. I have opened the packaging but haven’t used them yet. They both smell ah-may-zinggggg!!

Beauty Kitchen Everyday Gentle Organic Shampoo & Conditioner Set
I always try to use natural and organic beauty products, especially hair products. I tried this shampoo long back when I stayed at one of our relative’s houses. This time I purchased the whole shampoo & conditioner set for my hair from Amazon.
First Impression:
Both products come in recyclable and sustainable bottles. They have a mild fragrance. As I said, I used the shampoo once and liked it a lot. However, I’ll use both the products religiously for a few days and then share my review here.

Hemp4help Natural Herbal Fusion Conditioner with hemp and curcuma extract
It is a highly raved natural conditioner from the brand Hemp for Help. Since it was on offer, I purchased this conditioner as well.
First Impression:
It comes in a beautiful long white bottle with a wooden top cap. The conditioner has a subtle coconut fragrance!

Rimmel London 001 Black Glamour Liquid Eyeliner
My Lakme Beauty black liquid eyeliner is almost over! Hence, I was looking for some nice and affordable liquid liners. I spotted this at the Superdrug store, so I thought of giving it a try!
First Impression:
I purchased the shade Glam Eyes 001 Black Glamour. The packaging is good, and the color is beautiful black. I’ll wear it more so I can review it for you.

Faces Canada Splash Nailpolish Ocean 150 & Elle 18 Nail Pops Nailpolish 161
I got two nail polishes from India this time. The Faces Canada Ocean 150 is glossy and has a blue shade. Elle 18 nail pops 161 is a light purple/mauve colored shiny nail polish. I love the blue color! However, the mauve one doesn’t look bad on my medium dark skin tone .

Elegant Touch London Nail Polish Remover Pads
I had been using Kara and Mavala nail polish remover wipes. I wanted to try UK’s nail polish remover pads too! Hence, I decided to buy these Elegant Touch London remover wipes from the Sainsbury’s store.
First Impression:
These nail paint remover pads come tightly packed inside a cute pot. These are acetone free and fruity fragranced conditioning wipes. I’ve not tried these pads, so stay tuned for my review.

Superdrug Studio London Faux Pearl Slides
I got these cute pearl slides from the Superdrug store. These golden side clips would look great on anyone’s hair! My niece has already asked me to get a similar one for her .

I purchased these beautiful earrings from Claire’s store located on Oxford street.
The Body Shop® Cute Bunny Headband:
How could I miss these cute bunny headbands? I had to purchase this one from the brand The Body Shop®.

NEXT SHOES:
I went to the NEXT store to check out their Fall collection. The clothes couldn’t impress me, but I liked these bow slingback flat leopard-printed shoes ! Thus, they came home with me .
Lifestyle Gadgets Haul:
FITBIT Sense Smartwatch with Stress Management Technology
I wanted to buy a smartwatch for my husband to track his activities. After doing some research work, we zeroed in on FitBit Sense (the original one). I wish we waited a bit before buying it then we could get the new SENSE 2 model as well!
Anyway, this is an advanced smartwatch and has a few interesting features such as-
it tracks your heart
on-wrist stress tracking with EDA sensor
High & low heart rate notifications
Pace & distance with built-in GPS
Google Assistant & Alexa Built-in
The smartwatch has a graphite stainless steel case and carbon infinity brand. It comes with an additional band which is great. My husband has been wearing this fitness tracker for the past few weeks, and loves this gadget now.
Since we both go for walks, it gets easier for us to track the steps. He has diabetes, high cholesterol, and heart and stress issues. So I truly believe that buying this smartwatch was a great decision alongside following a healthy lifestyle!

*NEW* JBL TUNE 230NC TWS In-Ear Bluetooth Earbuds/Headphones:
I got these new JBL Tune 230 TWS active noise canceling Bluetooth earbuds for myself. I use BOSE 700 Noise-canceling wireless BlueTooth headphones (rose gold) for my editing work. I needed small Bluetooth earbuds for personal use, like listening to music or taking calls. Hence I purchased this new model.
I have been using them for the past couple of weeks, and I’m in love with them. Although they are not as efficient as Bose 700 headphones in terms of sound quality, these are great picks for those looking for an affordable option.

Phillips Precision Trimmer 4000 (HP6388) For Flawless Brows & Precise Touch-ups
From March 2020, I have stopped visiting salons for threading and waxing. Okay, not true! Because I did go to the salon once when I was in India at my sister’s place this year. I have been using facial razors and tweezers to shape my eyebrows since 2020. My elder sister uses this device, and she suggested I must get this one. I am yet to try out this precision trimmer. But not sure why I am so scared to use it? 
Philips precision trimmer 4000 (HP 6388) comes with three attachments – the main device with an 8mm trimming head for a precise trim, eyebrow shaping comb, and cleaning brush.
SOLAIT Mini Fan
The last item in my haul is this cute black Solait mini fan. I wish I had this fan with me before visiting India! I was sweating like hell when I visited the tourist places in Lucknow. However, this fan literally saved my skin during this summer in the UK! It is my travel partner now .
